FHT Company Limited is a women-led social enterprise dedicated to transforming menstrual health through sustainable, high-quality reusable sanitary pads. Operating from Mwanza, Tanzania, FHT is on a mission to empower women and girls with products that not only prioritize their health but also protect the environment.

It all started with a question: “Why should any girl or woman have to miss out on education, work, or life because of her period?”
The answer led to the creation of FHT, where the focus was on creating an affordable, reusable sanitary pad that would help women manage their menstrual health with dignity.
Since then, FHT has grown into a company that not only provides menstrual products but also advocates for menstrual health education and awareness, working tirelessly to break the taboos and stigmas that often surround menstruation.

Meet Our Founder
Dr. Iddah Mihindi, a medical doctor with a deep understanding of women’s health, saw the struggles that women in Tanzania face during their menstrual cycles.
Determined to create a solution that was both sustainable and accessible, she began researching and developing what would eventually become the Fursa Pads.
Her dedication to this mission has not only changed countless lives but has also set the foundation for a business that truly cares about its impact.
